Ankle Tenotomy is a procedure performed to lengthen muscle of your ankle. This procedure is usually performed to treat clubfoot in children. The procedure is carried out under local anesthesia.

Foot consists of 26 bones which help in movement and carrying your body weight. Any injury or trauma causing a break in any of these bones is termed as foot fracture. Foot fracture can be treated with the medications, physical therapy, or surgical procedures based on the severity of the fractures.

Treatment of Foot and Ankle Dislocation

Ankle is a hinge joint which connects the lower leg to the foot. When the normal positioning of the ankle is misplaced, it causes dislocation. Ankle dislocation is usually treated by relocating the ankle bones back to its place. An x-ray is usually used to determine the severity of the injury and the treatment options.
